Bookstores and BBQ

  Hello Folks:    This is the initial post of the Bookstores and BBQ blog. This comes from the fact that I am a Geek in regards to these two areas of great National Importance. I think we are all geeks about something and these are two of the ones I am guilty of geeking out over. My wife and I are recently retired High School teachers. No, no sympathies needed. I absolutely loved that job. It is incredibly rewarding. Now that COVID is receding, we are able to start traveling again. Over the past two years we have made several BBQ tours around the Southeast and an andouille tour in the bayous of LA. Additionally, whenever we visit a new area, we always look for Independent or Used Book Stores or both.
